50 neighborhood trees were surveyed in the Hunts Point neighborhood of the Bronx. Of the trees surveyed, 11 were in excellent condition, 32 in good condition, and 7 in poor condition. 15 of the trees are Honeylocust (Gleditsia triacanthos), 7 are Northern white-cedar (Thuja occidentalis), and there are 6 each of Norway maple (Acer platanoides), Ginkgo (Ginkgo biloba), and London plane tree (Platanus x acerifolia).
