Neighborhood Trees Surveyed - 322 Neighborhood trees were surveyed during the summer of 2002 in 3 different neighborhoods of New York City.
Value of Neighborhood Trees Surveyed - The total value of the 322 trees surveyed was $1,038,458.00 with a mean value of $3,225.03.
EMERGE Infrared Aerial Imagry - Color infrared images collected in September, 2001 at a 3 foot resolution by the EMERGE Corporation.
Land Cover Maps - Each Pixel in the EMERGE Infrared Aerial Imagry was classified as either tree/shrub, grass/soil, buildings, other impervious goung, and water to create classified land cover maps of the study areas.
Planting Index - Data from the Land cover maps was used in conjunction with 2000 US Census data to produce an index of planting priority.
