Below are examples of surveys designed to get a sense of
stewardship activity from a variety of different perspectives.
Each survey has its own particular focus but the
type of information collected is similar nonetheless. It is our
goal to combine the information collected from these surveys and
more to get a more complete picture of stewardship activity in
the New York City Metro region.
Urban Ecology Coolaborative -
the UEC survey is a more general,
transfer-able survey designed to satisfy the needs of a variety of
stewardship analysis approaches.

UEC Assessment Background/Development
Partnerships for Parks - 2002 survey focuses on organizations
involved with New York City parks in the calendar year 2002.
If your organization is involved in organizing clean ups, events or
other activities in NYC Parks and has not completed a survey,
Partnerships is collecting survey data through June 2003. Please see
attached survey and submit to Partnerships by June 30, 2003.
Green Thumb - 2003 survey focuses on Community Gardens throughout the
5 boroughs of New York City.
Harbor Estuary Program - 2003 survey focuses on, but is not limited
to, waterfront and hydrologic resources such as streams and wetlants
throughout the New York City Metro Region - including New Jersey.
