Help with Map Tools

Select a tool and click on the map to perform one of the 4 functions below. To select a tool click on the icon next to the function. The tool that is selected will be represented by an orange icon instead of a green icon.
Tag Map:
"Tagging" a map will allow you to save a link to any map that you create using OASIS in your del.icio.us account. You can then view these maps from any other computer and you can share them with others.
Identify Feature: selected =
Use the Identify Feature tool to learn more about certain layers on the map. For example, if the tool is selected and you click on the map when the Block/Lot boundaries are visible you will get detailed information displayed below the map about the place where you clicked from the Department of Finance Real Property Assessment Database (RPAD).
Zoom In: selected =
When the Zoom In tool is selected you can draw a box around the area that you would like to see with more detail. The map will redraw for the area that you selected.
Zoom Out: selected =
The Zoom Out tool is a little different than the Zoom In tool in that you can not draw a box. When the tool is selected, simply click on the map and the map will redraw with a slightly larger area shown. The point where you clicked on the map will be moved to the center of the map.
Recenter Map: selected =
When the Recenter Map tool is selected you can click on the map and the point where you clicked will become the center of the map. NOTE: you can also recenter the map by clicking on the green bars around the edges of the map.
