OASIS is a new web-based tool to help you locate open space resources in New York City, evaluate potential open spaces like vacant lots or properties with abandoned buildings, compare open space statistics in your neighborhood with the rest of the city, view the latest aerial photos of the city, and more.

You can use OASIS for your open space research and advocacy by:

  • Obtaining valuable open space information for your neighborhood
  • Compare open space information in your Community Board or borough with the rest of the city
  • Zoom in on new aerial photos of the entire city
  • View the locations of wetlands in your borough
  • Portray demographics for a particular area from the 1990 AND 2000 Census
