OASIS Powerpoint Presentation
This presenation was presented at the
1st Annual Public Participation GIS Conference, July 21-23, 2002
at Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ. The conference
was sponsored by URISA (Urban and Regional Information Systems Association).
The presentation starts out by defining/describing OASIS and highlighting
some of the things that you can do using OASIS. Next, it briefly outlines
the process by which OASIS was created. The second half of this presentation
highlights the Community Garden Mapping project done by Council on the
Environment of NYC, OpenRoad, and other organizations.
